Geist Architecture is a small firm specializing in custom homes that are thoughtful in design and focused on a unique experience of dwelling.
Our inspiration lies comfortably between the worlds of traditional and international contemporary architecture. Our interest is in exploring the confluence of the two, resulting in designs that are responsive to context yet employ contemporary spatial ideas. The quest for mastery of spatial articulation through light, materiality and composition is the key to attaining the transcendent experiential quality of architecture.
We are here to support our clients’ needs and dreams by making their houses the best homes they can be with a singular sense of place. We are constantly mindful of this and value the conversation between architect and client as a necessary ingredient for the development of a quality project. As a small firm, we have time to listen.
Stephan Patrick Seng is a registered architect who is intimately involved in projects from start to finish. Throughout the process, he collaborates with clients to develop designs that have individual architectural identities and strong connections between their interior and exterior spaces. His portfolio includes single family and complex multi-unit residential, hotel, commercial, retail, and office/workspace. Prior to becoming an architect, Stephan wielded his perfectionism as a photographer, before earning his Master of Architecture degree from Kansas State University. He has lived and worked in Seattle, Denver, and Los Angeles. He is currently based in Little Rock, Arkansas and welcomes work regionally.
